So what does an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Specialist do? In a nutshell, their essential function is being primarily responsible for conducting source removal (commonly known as duct cleanings), installing indoor air quality products (humidifiers, UV lights, HEPA filters, etc.) and performing minor duct modifications. You'll work as a 2-person team to provide timely, accurate and cleanly service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform duct cleanings and source removal services for residential housing. This includes cleaning the blower motor and coil, and sanitizing all ductwork
  • The ability to understand, explain and install all IAQ products; including but not limited to humidifiers, UV lights, and HEPA filters
  • Understand the fundamentals of airflow and how to properly install ductwork
  • Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any job site. Be sure that all necessary touch-up work and clean-up is completed before leaving the job site
  • Working as a team with the crew helper to get the job done professionally, efficiently and in a safe manner
  • Responsible for the vehicle upkeep, record logs and driving of vehicle; valid driver's license required
  • Other duties may be assigned

The primary goal is to ensure 100% client satisfaction by owning each client and ensuring they are served. Our Customer Service Representative is responsible for taking incoming client calls for service and scheduling. In addition, this position is required to make outbound calls to club member and non-club member clients to ensure that 3 calls are ran each day per technician. The Customer Service Representative should expect to have an average of 90 calls per day, both incoming and outbound. This role is responsible for accurate scheduling and performing backup duties for dispatching, debriefing, and Sales Lead Coordination. The Customer Service Representative will work from home 90% of the time and is required to come into the office as needed.

Essential Job Functions

  • Receive incoming service and maintenance calls from clients
    • Confirm service-related appointments for the following day
    • Schedule club member visits as directed
    • Make sure each technician has 3 calls scheduled per day
    • Build value with current club members to maintain renewal rate
    • Perform outbound calls to non-club member clients
    • Accurately build service-related calls
    • When directed, prepare and complete written client communications

Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. They must be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make the appropriate recommendations to the customer. Service Technicians must also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems that prevents systems from breaking down and provide safety and comfort for our clients.
  • Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs, replacement and indoor air quality by following Service Legends' communications process.
  • Give clients the power to choose what's best for their family's safety and comfort.
  • Maintain truck to be neat and clean on the inside and outside.
  • Maintain accurate inventory.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of position.
  • Show ability to make timely decisions in the best interest of the customer and company.
  • Conduct all work with a Safety First mentality.

Compensation & Hours

  • Starting wage of $16.50 - $33 per hour (DOE) + bonus & incentives
  • Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
  • Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
  • Sign on Bonus: Up to $2,500 based on experience

Are You the Next Legend?

As an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing & testing residential homes infiltration, insulation, indoor air quality, and the overall comfort and health of the home. Upon findings, this position will essentially be responsible for documenting the data, preparing reports and findings for the client, presenting options for the client, and selling solutions such as: spray foam insulation and sealing, duct sealing, fiberglass insulation, crawl space sealing, duct cleanings and a variety of indoor air quality solutions for the home.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide our clients with Indoor Air Quality options based on their needs and wants, ensuring excellent customer service and performance measurements are met.
  • Work closely with Service technicians, Sales & Install coordinators, Installers, management/supervisors, and any others necessary to provide timely and accurate system replacement sales estimates for clients
  • Collect client information and explain financing options
  • Perform accurate measurements of existing equipment and supporting material to ensure an efficient installation and cleaning process
  • Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information
  • Document client sale notes carefully
  • Continually expand knowledge of current IAQ standards, products, and home construction
  • Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager
